I am from peanut butter and jelly

From Kellogs, Wonderbread and vanilla ice cream

I'm from John Street in Seaford

I grew up in child's wonderland of friends, 

chalked hopscotched streets,

dolls, baseball diamonds 

and the duck pond

I am from orchid corsages and white gloves at Easter

Hand squeezed grape jelly and deep fried sugar donuts

I am from pink lilacs

that line the path to my Grandmothers house.

I was raised Irish

I'm from lovingly hand sewn dresses, tea parties

dress hats and patent leather shoes

I am from that old box of photos stored in the loving home I grew up in

I am from the stories, faces and events in this box

It holds photo history of my family and those who made an imprint on

Who I am

I am married for 40 years. We have 3 wonderful adult children or 5 if you count their spouses and 4 of the most wonderfully delicious grandbabies. I have 4 dogs that keep me very busy and bring me so much joy. I bred Bichon Frise puppies for 20 years. I have since discovered the wonderful world of crafting. I love paper crafting, scrapbooking, copics, my cricuts, my Close To My Heart Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge. I love sharing ideas with friends and trying new things that is why I chose to be a Close To My Heart Independent Consultant.
